The interviewee discusses the situation in Saigon at the end of the war, how he used his American contacts to get out of Vietnam, the differences between Vietnamese people in different regions of the country, his difficulty learning English, the problems people had getting out of Vietnam at the end of the war, his work with informants in military intelligence, the black market in American products, and the ways Americans worked with Vietnamese informants.
